1. Data controller

2. Data collected

The website produces aggregate visit statistics: date, viewed page, active time on the page, referring domain, device category, browser family and primary browser language.

No individual profiles are created. RL Technology does not record names, email addresses, geographic location, IP addresses, postal addresses, personal browsing histories or complete user-agent strings.

3. Browser language and active time

The primary language communicated by the browser is counted in aggregate form, for example “Italian” or “English”. It is not used to infer the visitor’s country or location.

Active time is measured only while the page is visible in the browser and is added directly to that page’s aggregate statistics. It is not linked to a personal identifier and cannot be used to reconstruct an individual visitor’s journey.

4. Purpose and processing

The data is used solely to measure overall traffic, understand which content is most frequently viewed and improve the website. Processing is limited to the RL Technology website, follows data-minimisation and aggregation principles, and is based on the controller’s legitimate interest in understanding the operation and use of the website.

The data is not used for advertising, profiling, automated decisions or cross-site tracking.

5. Technical cookies

rl_site_visit

A first-party statistical cookie with the fixed value “1”, lasting for the browser session. It prevents refreshes and navigation between pages from repeatedly increasing the public counter and aggregate visit count.

rl_insights_admin

A session-only, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict cookie used solely to protect the owner’s private dashboard. It is not used for ordinary visitors.

The website does not use advertising or profiling cookies.

6. Retention and security

Aggregate statistics are retained for no more than 730 days and are then removed automatically. The dashboard is password-protected, excluded from indexing and does not display information about individual visitors.

The statistics are not sent to external analytics services. Technical data is processed on the same hosting used for the website.

The hosting provider may separately process technical security and operational logs according to its own terms and privacy notices.

7. Rights and contact

You may request information about processing, object where applicable or exercise your rights under data-protection law by writing to info@rltechnology.it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority. Because RL Technology stores only aggregate data that is not linked to an identity, an individual visit normally cannot be isolated.
