Born for rockabilly
Rockabilly kicks
the door wide open.
The Southern Twister was born in the early 2020s, as rockabilly charged onto the Canavese scene and onto stages across Italy and beyond.
Its starting point is the great American Fender tradition, but the result was never meant to be an overly polite, polished or flat Twin-style clean. This is Canavese territory: character matters, and dynamics come first.

Two channels · One attitude
Clean when you want it.
Breakup when you need it.
The Normal channel delivers an immediate, touch-sensitive clean: never sterile, always ready to follow every nuance of the pick and the guitar’s volume control.
The Solo channel adds dedicated Gain and Volume controls. It can act as a second clean with its own voice, or be pushed into the organic saturation that only valves can produce.
Two JJ 12AX7 valves shape the preamp response, while a pair of Tung-Sol 6L6GCs brings the body and authority of the American school to the output stage.
The multi-position standby selector provides two distinct behaviours. Modern mode is tuned for maximum response, precision and firmness. Vintage mode simulates the behaviour of tube rectification, introducing a softer and more dynamic response. It is more than a technical choice: it changes the way the amplifier follows the player’s hands.
