One channel, but no pre-packaged tone. A British-inspired voice made modern, dynamic and entirely controllable through the player's touch and the guitar volume.

One channel.
All in your hands.
The Trouble Maker NM Signature was designed to respond to the player, rather than impose one fixed amount of gain.
Its British-inspired foundation was carefully tuned for a more modern, immediate and dynamic saturation. Roll back the guitar volume and the sound opens up; push the pickups and picking attack and it regains body and drive while retaining definition and expression.

Saturation that follows the gesture.
The circuit work was not simply about adding more distortion. The aim was to build an amplifier that follows the guitar volume and picking intensity without losing presence, articulation or character.
The integrated effects loop is also entirely tube based. The RL Technology circuit uses a 12DW7 and provides an EFX Level control directly on the front panel.

Nick Mantoan × RL
The Trouble Maker NM Signature was developed with Nick Mantoan, translating real musical requests into dynamic response, control and a distinctive voice.
The complete system combines the NM Signature head with two RL 4×12 White Skin cabinets, unified by purple UV LED lighting.
